Sorry Mr. Bean，電動車真係靈丹妙藥來㗎
Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean演員) 6月3號喺Guardian投咗篇文：「I love electric vehicles — and was an early adopter. But increasingly I feel duped」，對英國政府喺2040年禁售電油/油渣車持反對意見，指除了電動車之後仲應該要發展氫能、人工石油(synthetic fuel)等等。
佢有啱嘅地方 — 用得唔應該浪費急住換車
佢話：The biggest problem we need to address in society’s relationship with the car is the “fast fashion” sales culture that has been the commercial template of the car industry for decades. Currently, on average we keep our new cars for only three years before selling them on, driven mainly by the ubiquitous three-year leasing model.
先唔提人類嘅存在其實先係最唔環保嘅地方。無必就唔好買車，城市規劃應該要令公共交通更為便捷噉大家少啲揸車，冇人冇車最環保幾時都啱😂。
我唔熟英國嘅車務市場，但斷估都唔會租三年之後就會劏咗架車，而係繼續喺某啲地方用吧？當然唔應該見到新嘢就追潮流密密換。
但其他論點就不可苟同
電車冇咁環保？
佢話：Volvo released figures claiming that greenhouse gas emissions during production of an electric car are nearly 70% higher than when manufacturing a petrol one.
製造呢部分當然係油車比較環保…但用嘅時候呢？End to end呢？Tesla 2022年Impact Report電/油車只要揸兩年，end to end嘅溫室氣體排放就打和哂，之後電車剩賺。
大家可能諗「噉Tesla係自己整電車，份報告梗係整靚條數啦」well Tesla作為一間上市公司，佢刻意誤導嘅話，應該大把競爭對手會告到佢甩褲，但so far唔見有呢樣嘢發生。
又睇下2020年3月20日Cambridge喺Nature出過嘅一篇paper “Net emission reductions from electric cars and heat pumps in 59 world regions…
